What cameras are we renting?
Kodak Easyshare M1033. They are 10MP with a 3x Optical Zoom, flash, and a huge LCD screen. For more information on the camera specs , go here to the product page.
We also provide you with an AC charger for each camera. Before we ship the cameras to you we charge them; however, you may wish to charge them again before your event(s) to make sure they are fully charged.

How do I reserve my cameras?

and select a date. Reserve as early as possible. You should reserve 14 days in advance of your event. But if it is less than 14 days, please call us and we will do our best to accommodate you. Once your cameras are reserved, we guarantee you will have them in time for your event.
What are the payment terms?
To reserve your cameras, place a $15 deposit with your credit/debit card for each camera package. The deposit will be applied towards the camera rental. At the time we ship your camera packages you will be charged the remainder of the rental fee.
When will I receive the cameras?
You will receive your cameras at least one day before your event. For a wedding, this means you’ll be able to use the cameras not only for the wedding reception, but also for the rehearsal dinner. For corporate events, such as retreats and other multi-day functions, this means that you will be able to use the cameras for at least 3 days.
We guarantee that you will have the cameras for your scheduled event.
We ship via FedEx. A signature will be required. It’s best that the cameras ship to an address where someone of the age of 18 can sign for the package.
When can I ship them back?
Please ship them back to us within two (2) business days after your event. A return shipping label is provided in the box with the cameras. For cameras not shipped within two days, there is a late fee of $5.00 per camera per day. That fee is not refundable but is transferable to the cost of replacement, if necessary. Cameras and accessories not returned within 14 business days of the event are considered lost/stolen and your credit card will be charged the full value of the cameras and accessories. Should the cameras/accessories be subsequently received at a later date, you will be refunded the replacement costs minus late fees incurred.
How do I ship the cameras back?
The cameras are returned in the same box you received them in. Place each camera in its protective bubble wrap pouch. Pack them securely with the packing material included in the box so that they won’t get damaged in shipping. Then place the return shipping label on the box. There will be instructions in the box.
One thing that’s important at your reception. If you’ve placed the camera box under a table, remember to retrieve it because the crew that cleans up will throw away anything left under tables.
We will charge your credit card on file for these charges.
For weddings: You’re off on your honeymoon, having a great time and you don’t want to have to worry about returning the cameras. What do you do? Easy. Select someone to do it for you.
Is the camera easy to use?
These are point and click cameras with auto focus -- what you see is what you get. So click away.
Can your cameras record video?
Yes, our cameras can record short video clips. Our cameras will shoot video in HD, 720p.
How many pictures/video can the camera hold?
We provide a 1GB memory card with each camera. That card can hold up to 500 pictures or 30 minutes of video, or combination of both, i.e. 250 pictures and 15 minutes of video. There is a simple fact: each picture takes up about 2 MB. The video is a moving picture (30 frames a second) with sound, which takes up about 34 MB per minute. These cameras will compress the video, but that means a loss of quality. A suggestion would be that if you want a lot of video, acquire a camcorder, not just the digital camera, or designate a couple of the digital cameras exclusively for video, and the rest for pictures.
When will my pictures be put online?
Within two business days of receiving the cameras.
Can my friends and family view the pictures?
Absolutely. All you do is give them your personal web space address and password, that we assign you and we'll send you a link for additional uploads, your guest can view and download all they want for the first month.
Can I get a CD/DVD with the pictures on it?
A CD with all of your photos will be mailed to you free of charge. Additional CDs may be purchased by you or family and friends.
We can also create DVD memories slideshows for you, with the pictures and video of your choice, at a nominal fee. The Slideshow DVD comes with one free song (see list of free songs to select yours). In addition, you can have any song you would like, just let us know (copyrighted sound tracks are $0.99 a song).
How long will my photos be online?
FREE hosting is for 30 days. For longer length of time, we offer two packages at a nominal cost: Premium Hosting, and Standard Hosting.
Premium Hosting is $9.99 a month and allows you to download full size pictures and order extra CDs or DVDs and prints.
Standard Hosting is $5.99 a month, and only allows you to view the pictures and order CDs or DVDs.
You don’t have to make a decision right away. We will call you a week before your site goes down to remind you.
How can I print my pictures?
Either download and print them yourself or, use our services for printing.
There is a picture I would like remove. How do I do that?
Email us at digital@customcameracollection.com with the name of your wedding and the URL of the picture, and it will be taken down within 48 hours.
What if a guest brought a digital camera?
No problem. They can upload their photos to your event page so that everyone can enjoy them also. Free.
Can I purchase insurance?
Insurance to cover the value of the cameras and accessories during transit time – while in the hands of FedEx – is automatically included, at no cost to you. You may purchase additional insurance to cover possible damage to the cameras while in your possession. The cost is very reasonable (only $7 per camera package) and it will provide you with the assurance, for instance, that if a guest drops the camera and the LCD screen breaks, that you will not have to pay for the damage. This damage insurance does not cover loss or theft of the camera.
What damage is covered?
Normal wear and tear is included with the price of the camera. For further insurance, we suggest damage protection insurance for only $7 per camera. Loss or theft is not covered; we wouldn’t get the cameras back if it were.
What if we a camera becomes scratched?
These cameras are resilient and scratches don’t damage the functionality of them. Most scratches would be considered normal wear and tear. If a camera breaks, we just want it back. If you have purchased damage insurance, the cost of repair/replacement is covered. If you did not purchase damage insurance, we will bill your credit card for the cost.
Again, we ask that people please treat these cameras with care and consideration.
What happens if a camera is lost or stolen?
We ask that people who are using these cameras please treat them with care and consideration, as they would any valuable product. Each camera will have a tag on it identifying that they belong to CustomCameraCollection and are being rented by you. We also provide cards with instructions and to distinguish that these cameras are not “gifts” or “favors.” You might also wish to make an announcement to your guests as to the purpose of the cameras and their usage.
However, in the unfortunate case that the cameras and/or accessories are lost or stolen, this is our replacement price list:
- $100 for camera
- $25 for memory card
- $20 for battery
- $30 for AC charger
